ConnectX®-5 is an Ethernet PCI express adaptor.

Currently, only video input is supported in Reality, that means, AJA video card is also required in order to get video output. As we recommend to install AJA video I/O on PIC express slot no. 5, ConnectX® - 5 must be installed on PCI express slot 3 as shown in the image below.

The below image shows the motherboard marked with Slot 1 (for GPU), Slot 3 (for ConnectX®-5), and Slot 5 (for AJA video I/O).

Once the hardware is installed, the configuration of this hardware is necessary.

  • This AJA video card can also be used for additional input along with output in combination with IP input.
